Atlas jewelry have been in the field of jewelry for more than 30 years and has created a name for itself as being one of the jewelry houses who are reliable and maintain the highest of standards. They now have more than 50 establishments and a store in every major market in the GCC – the Gulf Cooperation Council.
The founder of Atlas Jewellery is Mr. M.M. Ramachandran and he was instrumental in the meteoric rise of the company. Atlas jewelry opened its first showroom in Kuwait City and that proved very successful. Most of the company’s success rests on its innovative and unique style of marketing.
The Dubai Shopping Festival started from the year 1996 under the Chairmanship of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President of the United Arab Emirates and the Ruler of Dubai. The inaugural year of the Festival saw about 43 kilos of gold given away as prizes alone.
Mr. Ramachandran insisted on transparency with his customers. He wanted his customers to be informed of the gold prices every day, and fixed the gold rate separately for 22 and 24 carat gold jewellery. This earned him a lot of appreciation and regard from the World Gold Council, and with the result his business in Kuwait grew astronomically and Atlas Jewelry became a household word.
Atlas jewellery has a large range of jewelry in the gold, diamond, pearl, and gemstone categories. Using gold the company makes a variety of bangles, bracelets, earrings, necklaces, pendants, and rings, apart from traditional jewelry of Adya, Moriina, and Zyana. Their diamond jewellery collection consists of Calista, Candrii, Iris, and Syamanthaka.
Atlas jewellery, which also specializes in Dubai jewellery, has its presence in India apart from many of the countries of the Gulf such as UAE, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait.
